Karsten Knoebel Eliminated in 10th Place (€19,075)

Level 27 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Karsten Knoebel
Karsten Knoebel

Zdenek Zizka shoved from the button and after using some extra time, Karsten Knoebel called off his stack of around 2,800,000 from the small blind.

Karsten Knoebel: AJ All in
Zdenek Zizka: 1010

Knoebel found himself in a flip, but probably didn't expect Zizka to be so strong. Both caught a piece on the 10QJ flop as Zizka improved to a set, while Knoebel made middle pair and picked up a gutshot.

Unfortunately for Knoebel, no kings arrived to help him out as the 38 runout meant he was out in tenth. The only good news for Knoebel is that he did manage to secure a €10,350 WSOPE Main Event seat for finishing in the top ten.

Behor Nearly Doubles Without Seeing a Flop; Zizka Calls Down Okhotskyi

Level 26 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Yehonatan Behor raised to 380,000 on the button and took down the blinds and ante. A few hands later, Karsten Knoebel raised to 350,000 in the cutoff and Behor moved all in for 1,615,000 in the small blind.

Knoebel burned through several time banks and took a few minutes before tossing his cards into the muck as Behor took the pot, nearly doubling his stack over the course of two hands without a flop being seen.

Oleh Okhotskyi and Zdenek Zizka then saw a flop of AK10 in a limped pot between the blinds. Okhotskyi led out for 200,000 and Zizka called.

Okhotskyi bet another 300,000 on the 7 turn and Zizka again called. The river was the 5 and Okhotskyi bet 300,000 again.

Zizka called and showed 107 for two pair, while Okhotskyi mucked KQ.

Zizka Plays Two in a Row

Level 26 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka played two consecutive pots, with one loss and one win.

First, Oleh Okhotskyi made it 330,000 from the small blind and Zizka called in the big blind.

Okhotskyi check-called a bet of 160,000 from Zizka on the 72K flop and again for 240,000 on the A turn. Both checked the 7 river and Okhotskyi took it down with a flush holding Q10.

In the next hand, Zizka made it 435,000 from the small blind and Karsten Knoebel called in the big blind.

A bet of 175,000 was enough to help Zizka win the pot on the K8K flop as Knoebel folded.

Ioannis Chorianopoulos moved all in for 1,880,000 under the gun and Jose Gaona called on the button.

Ioannis Chorianopoulos: KQ All in
Jose Gaona: AQ

Chorianopoulos was dominated but hit two pair on the KQ9 flop to take the lead. The K turn improved him to a full house, and Gaona handed over the double up once the 3 completed the board on the river.
