Daniel Knuth Eliminated in 6th Place (€35,400)
Level 29
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Zdenek Zizka raised to 600,000 in the cutoff and Silviu Baltateanu called in the big blind.
Zizka bet 300,000 on the J♦8♣3♠ flop and Baltateanu called. Both players checked down the Q♦ turn and 2♥ river, and Baltateanu showed K♥8♠ for a pair of eights. Zizka mucked 6♥3♦.
The next hand, Baltateanu shoved from the small blind and Daniel Knuth called for 1,825,000 in the big blind.
Daniel Knuth: Q♠J♣
Silviu Baltateanu: K♦2♦
Baltateanu hit two pair on the A♥A♠K♠ flop, leaving Knuth drawing only for a straight. The J♥ turn gave him more outs, but the 3♦ river wasn't one of them and Knuth was eliminated in sixth place.
