Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Frederic Delval
Frederic Delval

Frederic Delval jammed under the gun for 790,000 and Rifat Palevic quickly called from the hijack. Once the rest of the table folded, the players went to a showdown.

Frederic Delval: AJ All in
Rifat Palevic: AA

Palevic had eliminated a player in the previous hand and was now in the prime position to send Delval to the rail, as he held the preflop nuts.

Delval picked up some outs on the J86 flop by pairing his jack. However, the remainder of the board came K4 keeping Palevic's aces ahead. Delval headed home in fifth, but not before wishing the rest of the players good luck.

Rifat Palevic raised to 160,000 in the cutoff before Alessandro Pichierri moved all in for 1,035,000 in the small blind. Tobias Peters asked for a count but eventually gave up his big blind, while Palevic snap-called as soon as action got back to him.

The flop came K73 and Pichierri pushed over his stack and shot out of his seat at the sight of the king. He was already walking away from the table by the time the J came on the turn, followed by the 5 river that sealed his elimination in sixth place.

The dealer left the table after this hand, and Palevic flashed her a heart as he raked in the pot.

Peters Gets Delval to Fold Kings

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Tobias Peters came in with a raise to 160,000 from the cutoff before Frederic Delval three-bet the small blind to 455,000. Peters called.

The dealer spread out the A72 flop and Delval bet 250,000. Once again, Peters called.

A Q hit the turn and Delval did some inventory of his stack, which amounted to 570,000, then opted to check. Peters bet 225,000 and Delval folded while showing KK for a pair of kings.

Alessandro Pichierri raised to 120,000 on the button before Tobias Peters three-bet to 410,000 in the small blind. Pichierri called and they saw a flop of 886.

Peters then bet 375,000 and Pichierri moved all in. Peters snap-called for 1,760,000.

Alessandro Pichierri: JJ

Pichierri had run his jacks into Peters' kings, and the 5 turn and 7 river kept Peters in the lead and earned him the massive double up. The dealer then went to work counting out Peters' stack.

"You're ruining my perfect architecture," Peters joked as his perfectly aligned stacks were chopped up. He then raked in the pile of chips and went to work on rebuilding.

Elias Vaaraniemi came in with a raise to 120,000 from the hijack and Alessandro Pichierri defended his big blind.

Both players checked the 425 flop to see the K roll off on the turn. Pichierri tossed out a bet of 225,000 and Vaaraniemi came along with a call.

A 10 completed the board, and Pichierri fired out 550,000 into the middle. Vaaraniemi mulled it over briefly, then returned his cards to the dealer, allowing the pot to be sent to Pichierri.

Goeller needed his pair to hold on to survive, but Pichierri took the lead on the KJ5 flop with a pair of jacks. The rest of the board ran out 92 and Goeller was eliminated in seventh place.

"Now we're at the final table," Frederic Delval said.

"Another picture?" the tournament official joked.

"I don't have another cigar," Delval added.
