"You Have to Respect Brazil!"

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Iago Savino
Iago Savino

Alessandro Pichierri raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and picked up calls from Andreas Goeller and Iago Savino in the blinds.

All three players checked the 854 flop. Goeller then led out for 60,000 on the 5 turn and Savino raised to 175,000. Pichierri folded, while Goeller called.

The river was the K and Savino moved all in for 299,000. Goeller, who had formed a friendly rivalry with Savino since moving to this table, went into the tank as he considered the decision. "Do you have a five?" Savino asked him.

Goeller ended up folding. "Show," he said to Savino.

"Italy, you have to respect Brazil!" Savino shouted out, returning his cards face down while taking in the pot.

Symeon Alexandridis Eliminated in 15th Place (€8,700)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Symeon Alexandridis
Symeon Alexandridis

Grzegorz Flak made it 50,000 from the cutoff and only Symeon Alexandridis called out of the big blind.

The A64 flop checked through for the 8 to land on the turn. Alexandridis checked again, allowing Flak to bet 65,000. Alexandridis check-jammed for around 200,000 and Flak made the call with the covering stack.

Symeon Alexandridis: A8 All in
Grzegorz Flak: A4

Alexandridis took the lead on the turn by improving to a higher two pair, and only one of the two remaining fours in the deck would see him bust.

The dealer burned a card, then delivered the 4 to complete the board, giving Flak the winning hand with a boat.

Alexandridis paused for a moment, dropped his head to his hands, then vacated the tournament area to claim his 15th-place payout.

Tsouloftas Back in Business

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Georgios Tsouloftas
Georgios Tsouloftas

It didn't take long for Georgios Tsouloftas to get back in business!

He shoved the button for 276,000 and Stanislav Koleno asked for a count before he called in the big blind.

Georgios Tsouloftas: Q10 All in
Stanislav Koleno: A4

Koleno had made the right call, but it seemed he wouldn't be rewarded as the Q2J flop paired the queen of Tsouloftas. A 4 turn did give Koleno some more outs, but it was Tsouloftas who made two pair on the 10 river to earn the double, which he celebrated with a fist pump.

Peters Shoves on Tsouloftas

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action folded to Georgios Tsouloftas who limped in from the small blind. Tobias Peters then raised to 80,000 and Tsouloftas called.

The flop came Q75 and Peters bet 85,000. Tsouloftas called and the 10 fell on the turn.

Peters then moved all in, and Tsouloftas, with around 280,000 remaining, only took a few seconds before folding.

Georgios Tsouloftas raised the button to 50,000 and then called the shove of Stanislav Koleno in the big blind, who moved all in for 260,000.

Stanislav Koleno: 1010 All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: 88

Koleno had the bigger pair and a club, and that was enough to earn the double-up as the board ran out JJ2Q6, giving him a flush.

Matteo Intiso: AQ All in
Alessandro Pichierri: K9

Luka Bojovic Eliminated in 16th Place (€8,700)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Luka Bojovic
Luka Bojovic

Rifat Palevic made it 58,000 from the hijack and Luka Bojovic jammed for around 350,000 from the big blind. Palevic snap-called.

Luka Bojovic: 33 All in
Rifat Palevic: AK

Bojovic was in a race with pocket treys against the big slick of Palevic. A flop of KJ3 gave both players something, as Bojovic hit a set, while Palevic had a flush draw.

Palevic took the lead by completing his flush on the 4 turn, meaning Bojovic needed a board-pairing river to survive. The 8 completed the runout, and Bojovic headed to the rail in 16th-place.

Seelentag Doubles Off Savino; Palevic Calls Down Alexandridis

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Iago Savino shoved from the small blind and Felix Seelentag called for 217,000 in the big blind.

Felix Seelentag: K9 All in
Iago Savino: K5

The JJ8106 board improved neither player, and Seelentag's nine-kicker continued to play to earn him the double up.

At another table, Symeon Alexandridis three-bet to 70,000 in the big blind and Rifat Palevic called on the button.

The flop came K102 and Alexandridis bet 35,000. Palevic called and the A fell on the turn.

Alexandridis then bet 70,000 and Palevic again called. Alexandridis bet another 30,000 on the 4 river, and Palevic called once more.

Alexandridis showed K6 for a pair of kings, but Palevic had him outkicked holding K9 to win the pot.

Another Double For Fluegel at Vaaraniemi's Expense

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Elias Vaaraniemi opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Kevin Fluegel shoved 216,000 from the cutoff. When it got back to Vaaraniemi, he took a little while and called.

Kevin Fluegel: AQ All in
Elias Vaaraniemi: KQ

Fluegel had the chance to double up again through Vaaraniemi, and the A48 flop put him well on the way to doing so. A Q turn settled it, with the 7 dropping on the river.
