Zhou Doubles Up

Level 2 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Atanas Malinov opened to 1,200 from middle position and was called by Quan Zhou in the hijack and Andre Marques in the cutoff.

The flop came JQ9, and after Malinov checked, Zhou bet 1,500. Marques folded, while Malinov made the call to see the turn.

The Q paired the board, and Malinov checked again. Zhou moved all in for his remaining 3,600, and Malinov called.

Malinov showed AJ for two pair, queens and jacks, but Zhou had KK for the better two pair. The 9 on the river changed nothing, and Zhou secured the double-up.

The 9 hit on the turn, and Costa kept up the pressure with a 9,000 bet. That was enough for Simon to let his hand go, giving the pot to Costa.
