Daniel Rezaei

Daniel Rezaei will return to the felt as the man to catch when Day 2 of the 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event gets underway, having bagged the overall chip lead with 639,000 chips across the three starting flights in King's Casino at Hilton Prague.

The Austrian surged into the lead late on Day 1 and will begin the day with a clear cushion over Germany's Jan-Henrik Westerhoff (499,000), while poker triple crown winner Roberto Romanello (451,000) headlines the chasing pack after topping the Day 1b field.

WSOP bracelet winner Alex Keating (440,000) and Biao Ding (431,500) also sit among the biggest stacks, while Day 1a chip leader Aliaksei Boika ensured he remained firmly in contention with 424,500.

Across the three starting flights, a total of 2,169 entries were recorded, with 904 players successfully advancing to Day 2. That figure is still expected to grow, as late registration remains open through the first two 90-minute levels of the day, closing at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time.

With the €10,000,000 guarantee already surpassed, the total prize has climbed to €11,511,600, with further increases expected before registration officially closes. Final prize pool figures and the full payout structure will be released once the last entries are accounted for, with 15% of the field scheduled to finish in the money.

When play resumes at 12 p.m. local time, blinds will pick up at 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 big blind ante.

The plan for Day 2 is to play six 90-minute levels, with extended breaks scheduled after the first two levels of the day and a dinner break set after Level 14.
