Big Slick Does the Trick for Yaginuma

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jaime Cervantes raised to 140,000 under the gun and action folded to Jesse Yaginuma, who three-bet jammed for 1.855 million from the big blind. Cervantes hit the tank for a couple of minutes before making the call.

Jaime Cervantes: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Jesse Yaginuma: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

It was a classic race but not after the flop fell {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} to give Yaginuma a boat. The {7-Diamonds} turn left Cervantes drawing dead and he sent chips to his right after the meaningless {4-Spades} was run out on the river.

Moreno Calls River For His Tournament Life

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

Action folded around to Andrew Moreno, who limped in the small blind. Anthony Huntsman raised to 250,000 out of the big and Moreno came along.

The flop came {7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds}. Moreno led with a bet of 390,000 which Huntsman called.

The river came the {10-Spades}. After a Moreno check, Huntsman shoved all in to put Moreno to the test.

Moreno took off his sunglasses and looked up, getting ready for a long tank. He studied Huntsman and replayed the hand in his head while looking at the board. After a few minutes, he placed a few chips in the middle for the call.

Huntsman immediately indicated "good call" and turned over the {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Moreno then tabled the winner, which was the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for second pair, enough to take down the big pot.

"Bad Card for Me"

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Salim Admon raised to 150,000 under the gun and Santiago Soriano called from the hijack. Anthony Marquez came along from the big blind and it was three-way action to a flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

Marquez checked, Admon continued for 250,000, and Soriano folded. Marquez called and then checked again on the {k-Hearts} turn.

Admon upped his bet to 875,000 and Marquez thought long and hard before folding.

"Bad card," Admon said. "Bad card for me."

He then showed the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for two pair indicating the turn card may have killed his action.

Admon Sends Milliard-Feral Into Tank

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Salim Admon raised preflop from the button and Julian Milliard-Feral called.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Both players committed chips to the middle to grow the pot.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds}. Admon bet 210,000 and was called by Milliard-Feral.

The river came the {j-Spades} to pair the board. Milliard-Feral checked again. Admon carved out from his stack and produced a bet of 1,200,000 which was about the same size as the pot.

Milliard-Feral went deep into the tank. He looked as thought he was about to pitch his cards on a couple of occasions but kept them in his grasp a moment longer to think more each time. Eventually he did fold to send a nice pot to Admon.
