Matt Glantz Eliminated in 31st Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Unfortunately Matt Glantz had a very short day 3.

We picked up the action on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs} in a headsup pot. Glantz led out for 40,000, Michael Rocco raised to 120,000 and Glantz made the call. After Glantz checked the {3-Spades} turn Rocco bet 200,000 and Glantz check-called. Glantz checked the {3-Diamonds} river, Rocco went all in and Glantz snap-called.

Matt Glantz: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Rocco: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Both players had made two pair, king and threes, but unfortunately for Glantz Rocco's ace kicker played, which made Glantz the first casualty of day 3. Meanwhile, Rocco appears to be picking up right where he left off on day 2.

Daniel Strelitz Eliminated in 30th Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

Daniel Strelitz raised to 40,000 from the button and Justin Bonomo and Ryan Lenaghan called from the small and big blinds respectively.

On the {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Bonomo led for 40,000 and both his opponents called to see the {2-Spades} turn.

Two checks saw Strelitz bet 150,000 and only Bonomo called to see the {6-Hearts} river.

Bonomo checked, Strelitz jammed for around 500K, and Bonomo called with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights. It was good as Strelitz showed the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before heading to the payout desk.

Ryan Leng Eliminated in 28th Place ($17,290)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Australia's Kahle Burns raised to 45,000 under the gun and was met by a three-bet jam to 190,000 from Ryan Leng on the button. Both blinds folded and Burns called.

Kahle Burns: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Ryan Leng: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

It was a race and the {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} flop made things interesting by giving Burns a set and Leng both straight and flush draws. Unfortunately for the latter, those draws were rendered moot when the {k-Hearts} appeared on the turn to improve Burns to a full house.

The meaningless {2-Clubs} was run out on the river and Leng headed for the payout desk while a table broke with 27 players remaining.

Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 25th Place ($19,797)

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo was sitting with 700,000 and Adam Hendrix barely had him covered with 715,000 when the two of them got it all in preflop.

Adam Hendrix: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop was gin for Hendrix and he held through the {5-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river. The stacks were broke down to double verify and then Bonomo headed to the payout desk in 25th place.

Barry Shulman Eliminated in 17th Place ($29,848)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Barry Shulman
Barry Shulman

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Barry Shulman, who is also the publisher of CardPlayer Magazine, raised to 60,000 from the button only to have Michael Dyer three-bet all in for 850,000 from the big blind. Shulman called off for 815,000 and it was off to the races.

Barry Shulman: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Dyer: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Shulman was looking to improve to stay alive but that proved easier said than done for the former WSOP Europe Main Event champ as the board ran out {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Chris Ryan Eliminated in 13th Place ($39,474)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Chris Ryan
Chris Ryan

Chris Ryan got his last 750,000 or so all in preflop and found himself in rough shape against chip leader Louis Salter.

Chris Ryan: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Louis Salter: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Ryan was looking to get lucky to stay alive, but that didn't happen as the board ran out {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Ankush Mandavia Eliminated in 11th Place ($45,987)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ankush Mandavia
Ankush Mandavia

Ankush Mandavia opened for 130,000 from the button and Michael Rocco three-bet to 430,000 from the small blind. Mandavia responded by four-bet jamming for approximately 1.1 million total and Rocco quickly called.

Ankush Mandavia: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Michael Rocco: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

It was a flip but Mandavia needed to improve to stay alive. The {2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop didn't do it for him and in fact, gave Rocco an up-and-down straight draw.

Mandavia got lucky to hit the {k-Diamonds} on the turn to take the lead, but it would be short-lived as the {6-Hearts} followed it on the river to give Rocco the straight.

Adam Hendrix Eliminated in 8th Place ($63,852)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

Adam Hendrix raised to 400,000 under the gun and left himself just 175,000 behind. Action folded around to Joe Kuether in the small blind and he jammed, which inspired the short Tomas Soderstrom to fold from the big.

Joe Kuether: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Adam Hendrix: {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Hendrix was way out in front but not after the flop came down {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} to pair Kuether. Neither the {9-Diamonds} turn nor {q-Diamonds} river helped Hendrix and he was sent packing in eighth place.

Tomas Soderstrom Eliminated in 7th Place ($77,006)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tomas Soderstrom
Tomas Soderstrom

Tomas Soderstrom moved all in for his last 830,000 under the gun and Michael Dyer flatted next to act. The rest of the players got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Tomas Soderstrom: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Michael Dyer: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Dyer was ahead but Soderstrom was drawing to two live cards. Unfortunately for him, he failed to connect as the board ran out an unhelpful {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to end his run in seventh place.
