Gostisa Runs Good, Then Runs Bad

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Rok Gostisa got it all in against an opponent preflop, with the larger stack.

Opponenet: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Rok Gostisa: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board came {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} bringing four hearts on board to give Gostisa the flush and the knockout.

On the next hand, Nick Pupillo bet 10,000 on the {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Spades} flop and Gostisa called to see the turn {5-Clubs}.

Pupillo jammed all in and Gostisa made the call.

Nick Pupillo: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Rok Gostisa: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Pupillo held pocket aces with a flush draw, while Gostisa had a set of kings.

The {9-Spades} hit the river and Pupillo doubled with the spade flush.

Proscia Shows a Smile

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Gennaro Proscia
Gennaro Proscia

Gennaro Proscia raised to 2,500 from under the gun and found three callers, bringing action four-ways to the {6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop.

Action was checked around to the {3-Diamonds} turn where the big blind player led out for 3,000 and only Proscia called to see the {q-Spades} complete the board on the river.

Proscia tossed out a 15,000 bet after his opponent checked their option and the bet sent them deep into the tank.

After some careful thought, Proscia's opponent mucked their hand and showed {9-Hearts}{x-} with a big grin on his face.

Guay Flops Case King to Double Through Vo While Soderstrom Rebuys

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Guay
David Guay

Viet Vo raised to 2,100 from late position, Tomas Soderstrom three-bet all in for 17,000 from the hijack and David Guay four-bet jammed for roughly 50,000 from the big blind.

Action was back on Vo who called after some careful thought and the three players tabled their hands.

Tomas Soderstrom: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
David Guay: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Viet Vo: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Guay was ahead with his cowboys and even though a ten appeared in the window on the {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop, there was a king underneath keeping Guay out in front.

The {8-Hearts} turn left Soderstrom needing the case ten but the {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river and he reentered the tournament while Guay collected the pot.
