Level 21 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
David Miscikowski
David Miscikowski

On a completed board of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} with roughly 400,000 in the pot, David Miscikowski was in the big blind facing a bet for all of his approximately 550,000 chips by Vanessa Kade in middle position. Eventually, Miscikowski called.

Kade tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for flopped top set, and Miscikowski mucked his hand as he made his way to the payout desk in 36th place.

Dowdy Triples; Soverel Eliminated

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Sam Soverel
Sam Soverel

David Dowdy open-jammed a stack of 300,000 from under the gun and Sam Soverel flat-called off of a stack of 700,000 as the player next to act.

The action folded to Debbie Lee in the small blind, who moved all-in with Soverel covered. Soverel tanked for multiple minutes and stared off behind his signature black Ray-Bans and eventually called off for his tournament life.

David Dowdy: {q-Spades}{4-Spades}
Sam Soverel: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Debbie Lee: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Lee's jacks were still far in front when the flop came {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, but the {q-Diamonds} on the turn catapulted Dowdy ahead. The {5-Hearts} on the river didn't change things and Dowdy secured a triple-up while Soverel was eliminated a tiny side pot went in Lee's direction.

"To be fair, I showed queens last time," Dowdy said after the hand.

On a completed board of {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, David Lambard was in the big blind facing a decision for the rest of his 330,000 chips by Niko Koop in middle position. Lambard called.

Koop first turned over the case king as he revealed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for quads to defeat Lambard's {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Lambard made his exit from the tournament.

Hohner Eliminated by Moran, Soverel Dodges Cooler

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Hohner
Ryan Hohner

Daniel Moran opened to 45,000 in early position and Sam Soverel flat-called in the small blind. Ryan Hohner in the big blind then three-bet to 295,000 with just 5,000 behind and Moran responded with a four-bet all-in. Soverel quickly folded.

Ryan Hohner: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Daniel Moran: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Hohner was ahead with queens but that changed when the flop came {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} to give Moran two pair. The board finished out {7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to improve Moran to a full house and Hohner was eliminated.

Had Hohner not raised, it would have been a massive cooler for Soverel as he revealed he held {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

"That would've been disgusting," Soverel said. "I would've been so tilted."
