Vasilyev Stays Alive on the River

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Anthony Basile raised it up from the hijack and Vladimir Vasilyev shipped all in for 775,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Basile called to put Vasilyev at risk.

Vladimir Vasilyev: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Anthony Basile: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

They were off to the races and the flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} left Basile in the lead. The {j-Spades} on the turn gave Vasilyev some more outs and the {q-Diamonds} on the river was one of them, giving Vasilyev a double up.

Machado Gets Paid with a Boat

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Three players were still in the hand with just over 1,000,000 in the pot and the board reading {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Jeremy Joseph tossed in a bet of 400,000 and Manuel Machado called on the button.

The {2-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Joseph fired out another bet of 500,000. Machado raised to 2,000,000 and Joseph paid him off. Machado tabled {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a full house and Joseph mucked his cards.

Fragoso Bluffs It Off, Doubles Back Up

Level 27 : 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante

Manuel Machado opened to 150,000 from under the gun and Francisco Fragoso defended from the big blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} and Fragoso checked to Machado who bet 125,000. Fragoso check-raised to 400,000 and Machado called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Fragoso counted out a bet of 800,000. Machado still called and the {6-Spades} completed the board. Fragoso put together a bet of 1,700,000 and Machado snapped him off. Fragoso tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for just king-high while Machado held {j-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush.

On the next hand, the action folded around to Fragoso who shipped all in for 825,000 in the small blind and Machado called from the big blind.

Fragoso was ahead with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but Machado was looking for that bounty with {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the ace-high for Fragoso held on to double up.

Andrews Sends Some More to Anderson

Level 27 : 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante
Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

Action picked up on the turn between Calvin Anderson and Cherish Andrews. Anderson has been getting the better of the entire table in recent levels, but has been especially bothersome to Andrews.

The board showed {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Anderson checked from under the gun and Andrews bet 425,000 on the button. Anderson check-raised to 975,000 and after some thought, Andrews made the call.

The river brought the {8-Hearts}. Anderson followed up with an all-in bet of 2,500,000 effective. All of her chips on the line, Andrews thought for about two minutes, but eventually decided on a fold.

At a nearby table, Kevin Rabichow was seen heading to the sideline after being busted.

Park Comes Out on Top in Three-Way All-In

Level 27 : 50,000/75,000, 75,000 ante

Benjamin Hu shipped all in for 875,000 from under the gun and Andy Park stuck the last of 625,000 in the middle from a couple of seats over. Ionut Voinea also went all in for 625,000 from the hijack. The rest of the table folded and the three hands were tabled.

Andy Park: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Ionut Voinea: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Benjamin Hu: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and with no player holding a heart in their hand, Park's pair of jacks held up as the winner. Park was lucky enough to have the same stack as Voinea and claim the bounty.
