Moraes Wins Four-Bet Pot

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Rafael Moraes
Rafael Moraes

Rafael Moraes opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by a player in late position. The small blind then three-bet to 28,000. After some time, Moraes responded with a four-bet to 45,000. Only after the late position player folded was Moraes informed that he had made an illegal raise and so would be forced to raise to the minimum of 50,000. The small blind went into the tank and eventually decided to just call to generate a large pot prior to the flop being dealt.

The small blind checked after the {8-Spades}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop and Moraes continued for 12,000, which, small as it was, got his opponent to fold. "I'm either the best player in the world or the worst," mused the player in the small blind as he watched more than half of his original stack headed Moraes' direction.

Diaz Dalmau Rapidly Ascending

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Adria Diaz Dalmau has enjoyed a productive day thus far. Action folded to him in middle position and he opened to 6,000. Only the big blind called to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

Diaz Dalmau continued for 5,000 after the big blind checked to him on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and was called.

Both players checked through the {9-Hearts} turn to the {3-Spades} river where the big blind checked for a third time. Diaz Damlau shifted a stack of chips totaling 100,000 into the middle, forcing his opponent all in. It did not take long for the big blind to release his hand and keep Diaz Dalmau's chip count rising.

Bonomo Jams Turn

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action after the flop, Justin Bonomo in late position was involved in a hand with a player in the cutoff. On a board reading {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} Bonomo checked to the cutoff player, who led out for 9,000. Bonomo responded with a raise to 29,000, which his opponent called.

The turn came {8-Hearts} and Bonomo shoved his remaining chips into the middle. The cutoff player held his hand aloft for a moment before tossing it away, sending a sizable pot Bonomo's way.

A player from under the gun found himself all in and at risk against Scott Vener out of the small blind.

Under the Gun Player: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Scott Vener: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Vener was on the right end of a brutal cooler late in the day. The {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds} runout provided no help to the all in player, sending him to the rail in horrific fashion.
