Zimnik Doubles, Del Vecchio on Fumes

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Bin Weng opened to 8,000 in early position and was called by Viet Vo on the button. Nathan Zimnik shipped all in for 52,000 in the small blind and Michael Del Vecchio re-shoved all in from the big blind. Weng and Vo quickly folded and the remaining two hands were face up.

Nathan Zimnik: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Michael Del Vecchio: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} favored Del Vecchio. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing but the {a-Clubs} on the river was exactly what Zimnik was looking for.

DeWitt Puts De Almeida in De Tank

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jason DeWitt raised to 9,000 in the hijack and Pierre De Almeida called from the big blind. The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and De Almeida check-called a bet from DeWitt.

The turn brought the {k-Hearts} and De Almeida checked again. DeWitt tossed in a bet of 26,000 on the turn and De Almeida still called. The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and De Almeida checked for the third time. DeWitt pushed in the last of his 90,000 chips which put De Almeida in the tank.

After at least three minutes passed by, the clock was called and De Almeida finally threw away his cards in the final seconds. DeWitt collected the pot and De Almeida was left shaking his head.

Gal Yifrach
Gal Yifrach

Gal Yifrach came into the day with just over 20 big blinds but has wasted no time spinning up a healthy stack through the first couple of levels. Yifrach opened to 12,000 in the hijack and Liya Gerasimova pushed all in for 60,000 in the big blind. Yifrach called and the card were on their backs.
