Big Stacks Collide on Table 45

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Two of the big stacks in the entire field were seated just a few chairs apart on Table 45 and collided in a massive pot. Calvin Anderson was heads-up with Karapet Galstyan with over 350,000 chips in the pot.

The board read 1053A2 and Anderson started with a check from the small blind. Galstyan shoved all in for 272,000 in the hijack and Anderson gave it some thought before letting his hand go.

"King-queen of clubs?" Anderson asked but got no response from Galstyan.

Shorr Gives Up on the River

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Shannon Shorr raised it up from early position and was only called by Benjamin Palmer on the button. The flop fell JJ3 and Shorr continued with a bet, which Palmer called.

The turn brought the 8 and Shorr checked this time. Palmer fired out a bet of 15,000 and Shorr stuck around for the J on the river. Shorr checked again and Palmer sized up a bet of 50,000. Shorr quickly disposed of his cards and Palmer raked in the pot.

Massey Asks for It All

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
