Each week we will be handpicking our favorite four videos from around the hallways of the 43rd Annual World Series of Poker.
Each Wednesday, Kristy Arnett will be providing more of a "behind the scenes" look to the World Series of Poker in a new series called The Straddle. The first episode was released this week with some entertaining segments such as What the Muck? and Show Me Your Sack. You read right. Check it out!
As for in front of the scenes, Kristy Arnett and Sarah Grant fill you in on all the highlights that came out of the second week at the WSOP. If you've been keeping busy and haven't quite caught up on all the news from around the Rio, then the next six minutes will get you up to speed.
Every day we have at least one new bracelet winner who experiences one of the proudest moments of their career. There have been some fantastic bracelet winners this week as shown in the aforementioned PokerNews Weekly, including Andy Bloch who is worried he's going to "fade into the background" now that he can no longer be discussed as one of the world's best players without that gold. Brian Hastings also locked up his first bracelet and John Monnette went on to win his second. However, there was one winner who really caught the hearts of many followers — Brandon Schaefer.
The Poker Princess Palace
Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso owns quite an impressive abode in Las Vegas, and she has opened the doors to her fellow female poker-playing counterparts, Liv Boeree, Maria Ho, Vanessa Selbst and Tiffany Michelle, all of whom are living with her during the summer. We brought the PokerNews cameras to her place last week for an exclusive guided tour.
