The Playground Poker Club has been playing host to the Playground Poker Fall Classic – a 16 event series – and this Friday the stop will culminate with the (CAD) $3,500 + 350 partypoker.net World Poker Tour Montreal Main Event, which will run through November 19.

PokerNews is proud to announce that our Live Reporting Team and video crew will be on hand to bring you all the action from the Main Event, which means players will have the opportunity to use the MyStack app to update hands and chip counts straight into the live blog.

If you don't have it on your phone or tablet yet, you can download the MyStack app absolutely free on either Apple or Android, click here.

The WPT Montreal Main Event features three starting flights, with Day 1a kicking off at 11 a.m. on Friday November 13th. Days 1b and 1c will take place at the same time on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The tournament is a "next-day reentry," meaning players who bust one starting flight are free to buy into the others. What's more, players can play multiple starting flights, and if they're fortunate enough to survive more than one, they'll take their biggest stack into Day 2.

The Main Event final table will be recorded for television, but will also be available to poker fans via a live stream (cards down, with commentary). The winner of the Main Event will also qualify for the recently announced "Tournament of Champions," which will replace the WPT Championship at the end of the season.

The capacity for the Main Event is 150 players on Day 1a, 250 players on Day 1b, and 400 players on Day 1c. If the limit is reached on any Day 1, alternates will be allowed to register for the event and take their seat if and when space permits before the end of the late registration period. Late registration is open until the end of the dinner break following Level 6 of each Day 1.

Among those who've already captured titles at the Playground Poker Fall Classic are Jean-Hugo Robitaille, who topped a field of 1,439 entrants to win Event #1 The Wild for $24,890; Steve Saab, who outlasted 167 others to win Event #2: C$200 NLHE Freeze for $3,248; and Rabih Aboudib, who topped a field of 169 to win Event #4 C$100 NLHE Deepstack for $2,110.
