Super High Roller Bowl Goes to Macau for Invite-Only Event

Super High Roller Bowl China

Poker Central and Macau Billionaire Poker are teaming up to take the Super High Roller Bowl overseas. Super High Roller Bowl China will take place at the Babylon Casino in Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from March 20-22 and is guaranteeing a stunning HK$100 million prize pool (~$12,800,000).

The HK$2,100,000 buy-in (~US$270,000) will be sure to bring in some of the biggest names in poker through its invite-only format. Capped at 49 players, it is an unlimited re-entry event with an additional 3% administrative fee taken from the prize pool.

In the last few years, the Super High Roller Bowl has become a staple event that high rollers look forward to playing at the ARIA in Las Vegas. Some of these players will now have an opportunity to compete with the best in the world in this refutable event in a place known for poker action — Macau.

"We knew the time was right to expand the format globally."

Sampson Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central, spoke about expanding the event to China.

“As the annual Super High Roller Bowl out of Las Vegas continues to be the gold standard for high roller tournament poker, we knew the time was right to expand the format globally.
“China is one of poker’s largest markets, and Macau Billionaire Poker is a natural partner to help bring the Super High Roller Bowl series to poker fans internationally.”

Macau Billionaire Poker is known for putting on successful high rollers in Asia and is excited to be co-hosting the first SHRB on the continent.

“We are delighted to launch a new edition of the Super High Roller Bowl with Poker Central,” said Tim Chen, CEO of Macau Billionaire Poker. “We wanted to raise the stakes by providing a prize pool befitting of the event’s renowned stature – we can’t wait to see what unfolds at this inaugural event.”

The HK$2,100,000 buy-in event had a 5% fee (HK$100,000), with an additional 3% of the prize pool to be withheld as an admin fee. Players can contact Macau Billionaire Poker at [email protected] for more information regarding registration for this elite invite-only event.
