It Was the Peter La Terra Show at the Cash Game Festival Tallinn

Day 3 of the Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino has been action-packed both on and away from the tables.

With no break in the action from the previous day, it was hard to tell when Day 2 ended and Day 3 began.

As is the case at every Cash Game Festival, there were two feature tables.

The first one was a €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha affair with two former Cash Game Festival trophy winners in Kevin Malone (Dublin - October) and Jon Kyte (London - September) battling it out in hopes to be in good position for a second one. The trophy is awarded to the player that wins the most big blinds out of any of the ten feature tables.

The man to beat heading into the day was Rikard Relander who on Day 2 won €1,508 (754 big blinds) on a €2/€2 no-limit hold'em feature table.

Relander is off the top of the leaderboard, but it was neither Malone or Kyte to knock him off his perch. Instead, it was Cash Game Festival veteran Peter La Terra who managed to win a huge profit of €1,996 (998 big blinds).

The action for the later stream changed to €2/€2 no-limit hold'em. Henry Kilbane, who has been commentating the entire festival with Andrew "Picasso" Hedley, took a break from the booth to join the action.

Kilbane's fans were pleased, and his chat trolls were silenced after he booked the biggest win on that table with a tidy profit of €166 or 83 big blinds.

During the end of the first feature table leading into the second one, players with the hospitality package left the casino to enjoy some fine dining and drinks on the house.

Tomorrow is expected to be the biggest day of the festival both on and away from the felts. Many players are still coming in from neighboring countries while many local recreational players will also join the fray.

Meanwhile, the VIP party is scheduled for tomorrow night at 11 p.m. at VaBank.
