888poker XL Autumn Series Main Event Surpasses $500K Guarantee

The 2025 edition of the XL Autumn Series at 888poker is almost done, with only a handful of events needing to crown their champions. The $250 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed RAKELESS Mystery Main Event is one of those events. It has broken through its ambitious guarantee, with two flights remaining.

Some 2,023 players have bought into the XL Autumn RAKELESS Mystery Main Event, resulting in a $507,000 prize pool. Those numbers will grow by the time the final two flights end on September 29; they start at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. BST, should you want to get in on the action.

Five of the mystery bounties, which come into play at the start of Day 2 at 9:30 p.m. BST on September 29, are worth five figures. Two weigh in at $10,000, another two at $15,000, with one lucky 888poker player receiving a cool $50,000 jackpot mystery bounty.

Denmark's "chrisfrimodt" is the player to catch right now, having turned their eighth bite at the cherry into a tournament-leading 348,652, or 140 big blinds.

Four other players have more than 100 big blinds when Day 2 shuffles up and deals. "__Tandem" fired 15 bullets before bagging up 324,708 chips, while fellow Ukrainians "PasHTeT25" (292,841) and "KabanRoman08" (269,692) also have big stacks. Lithuanian "Ungulaitis" (259,099) sits down on Day 2 with 104 big blinds.

$100,000 Guaranteed Mystery Bounty Mini Event Needs Another 993 Entrants

While the $500,000 guaranteed RAKELESS Mystery Main Event has hit its guarantee, the $25 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Mini Event needs another 993 entrants across its final quartet of flights to not overlay.

At the time of writing, 3,452 players have bought in (including re-entries), but the tournament requires 4,444 entrants to hit the $100,000 guarantee. The final four Day 1s kick off at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. BST on September 29, before Day 2 begins at 9:30 p.m. BST.

Sixteen of this tournament's mystery bounties are worth four figures, including two tipping the scales at $4,000. However, the largest mystery bounty payment is $10,000, which could be more than the eventual champion grabs from the regular prize pool!
