It was another rough outing for Ethan "Rampage" Yau on Hustler Casino Live, as the 28-year-old vlogger booked a $40,000 loss during the latest edition of Max Pain Monday.

Despite being ahead in a massive four-way all-in, the deck lived up to the show’s name and handed him a crushing river beat. The defeat continues a turbulent October for Rampage, who earlier this month 'felt the urge to punt' and dropped more than $215,000 in a single HCL session.

Max Pain for Rampage

The Monday $10/$20/$40 game isn’t the largest that plays out on HCL, but it consistently brings fireworks thanks to one house rule: all all-ins are run once. As the name suggests, the deck often delivers maximum pain, and that’s exactly what happened in a four-way clash where Rampage saw victory snatched away on the river.

Rampage A10 opened to $400 from the lojack and picked up a call from super high-stakes battler Peter A5 in the hijack. Coco AQ looked down at a premium hand in the small blind and three-bet to $2,000. JT 88 defended from the straddle, as did Nikos A2. Rampage then ripped in his $10,000 stack, Peter folded, and Coco called off for slightly less. JT covered and stuck his chips in, while Nikos shoved his remaining $3,630 into the middle to set up the four-way showdown.

It was a nice situation for JT with pocket eights as every ace was accounted for, but the J103 flop instead gave Rampage a pair to surge into the lead. Coco held the most equity with a royal flush draw and even began celebrating. The 7 turn boosted Rampage further with a flush draw, while Nikos was already drawing dead. The turn also gave JT two extra outs, the black nines would complete a straight to go with his lone out for trips.

Rampage looked set to scoop, but Max Pain Monday lived up to its name. The river brought the case eight 8, giving JT a set and the $35,830 pot.

Titus locked up a solid win of $15,850, while Sashimi also finished in the black with +$2,530.

On the losing end, Francisco (-$23,000), Nikos (-$21,820), and Raver (-$20,480) all suffered five-figure defeats. Peter (-$8,820), Coco (-$1,900), and DonkeyKwon (-$300) also ended the night down.
