Grosvenor Poker has released the full schedule for Goliath 2026, the world’s largest live poker tournament outside Las Vegas, set to return to Coventry from July 23 to August 2.

Featuring 25 events, the schedule is headlined once again by the enormous £200 Goliath Main Event, which boasts an estimated £2 million prize pool and drew a staggering 12,961 entries last year, making it the 16th-largest live poker tournament ever recorded.

Renowned as one of the most accessible and popular stops on the European circuit, Grosvenor Poker’s Goliath continues to attract a huge recreational following. The 2025 edition of the Main Event delivered a true Cinderella story, as Paul Worsley, who arrived with just over $2,000 in prior live earnings, navigated the record-breaking field to claim £316,640.

Additionally, Grosvenor Poker has also confirmed that registering for this year’s event will be easier than ever, with the Grosvenor Poker Live app (available on iOS & Android), now supporting debit card and voucher buy-ins, allowing players to secure their seats well in advance.

There's also the usual selection of affordable satellites you’ve come to expect from Grosvenor Poker, with direct routes into one of the Goliath Main Event's nine starting flights from £30, and feeder satellites beginning from as little as £1.

£2m Estimated Prize Pool for 2026 Goliath Main Event

Goliath

2026's installment of the Goliath Main Event is expected to draw a gigantic field once again, with Grosvenor Poker estimating around a £2m prize pool following on from last year's record £1,970,600 generated.

The event has a remarkable record of growing each year since its inception in 2011 (with the exception of 2020 & 2021 COVID years), and entry remains affordable once again, with Grosvenor Poker leaving the £200 total buy-in unchanged.

This year’s festival arrives at a busy moment in the poker calendar, landing shortly after the 2026 WSOP and the FIFA World Cup final, with online satellites and tickets already feeding into the flagship event.

Entry paths are accessible by design, ranging from £1 feeder steps through to £5, £30 and £200 Goliath seats, while Live Event Credit from online satellites can be used across the full Goliath schedule.

Past Goliath Champions

Paul Worsley Goliath

The magic of the Goliath was in full effect in 2025, as Liverpool's Paul Worsley became the champion, spinning a £200 buy-in into £316,640.

Worsley's remarkable victory was just one of many to emerge from last year's record-breaking field, including all nine players at the final table (each guaranteed a minimum of £17,140) who took home career-high paydays, such was the scale of the event.

Other previous champions, including Will Watkins in 2024, Alex Todd in 2023 and Kyle Jeffrey in 2022, sit alongside Worsley as part of an exclusive group who have all come through Goliath fields of more than 10,000 runners to lift the title.

£1m GUKPT Main Event to Raise Curtain on Goliath Festival

Alongside the Goliath Main Event, there is plenty more on offer in Coventry this summer, with a packed schedule of side events ensuring action throughout the festival.

One such highlight is the £1250 GUKPT Main Event, which gets underway on July 23 and offers an estimated £1m prize pool.

The UK's longest-running poker tour, the GUKPT is celebrating its 20th season in 2026, with a big chunk of the £10m expected to be paid out over this year up for grabs in the opening days of the Goliath festival.

Featuring four starting flights and a four-day structure, the GUKPT Main Event is itself a great reason to make the trip to Coventry this July.
