- What to Expect on Day 27 of the 2026 WSOP
Day 26 at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is over at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas. Three bracelets were awarded before all the chips were bagged and chairs stacked on June 20.
The headline bracelet of the three was Calvin Anderson's win in the Event #54: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship. Not only are the fields in $10k mixed games especially, but this was also Anderson's seventh WSOP bracelet overall and his second of the 2026 Series.
Event #53: $1,500 Five Card Pot-Limit Omaha was a new event for this year's schedule. Zachary Gruneberg won $271,552 and the very first bracelet of its kind.
Abhishek Mhatre won his first bracelet and his biggest career live cash ($492,050) when he won Event #56: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em to take home $492,050 and claim his first World Series of Poker bracelet and largest career cash to date.
Elsewhere in the series, Naoya Kihara made it to another final table in the $50,000 PLO High Roller as big names bagged in several of the day's smaller tournaments.
Naoya Kihara At Another High Roller Final Table
Naoya Kihara is having a great Series. He has won two bracelets this summer and cashed a further six times. Now he finds himself at yet another final table with a min-cash of $152,020 and a top prize of $1,368,700.
However, the final table of Event #55: $50,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha won't be an easy one to navigate for Kihara. He is currently fifth out of the eight players remaining from the 110 entries.
Robert Cowen leads the table with 9,060,000 in chips, while Joao Simao (6,985,000) and Carlo van Ravenswoud (6,300,000) chase him in second and third. Particularly dangerous at this table is Yuri Dzivielevski, who sits in seventh with 1,450,000 in chips.
The final table will be live-streamed tomorrow on a 2.5 hour delay, with parallel live reporting here on PokerNews (also on delay to prevent spoilers).

Dylan Smith and Nick Pupillo Bag $1,500 Triple Draw Event
Event #58: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw had a strong start. Day 1 attracted 657 entries for a prize pool of $872,168.
Stephen Hubbard leads the remaining 125 players. Hubbard bagged 405,000, according to the WSOPLive App. Patrick Moulder (373,000), and Casey Hayes (370,000) are the next two names in a top ten that includes Jerry Wong (283,000), Michael Rodrigues (275,000), and Jon Kyte (275,000).
Further down the standings, some other big names who found a bag include Nick Guagenti (212,000), Dylan Smith (192,000), Nick Pupillo (93,000), and 2023 WSOPE Main Event Champion Max Neugebauer (173,000).

$1,000 PLO Event Kicks Off
Event #57: $1,000 Pot Limit Omaha saw 683 players pony up the entry fee. This produced a prize pool of $601,040. With one more Day 1 flight to go, both numbers will increase before they are fixed.
Only 32 players survived Day 1a, making it through to Day 2. For now, Paul Roy leads them with 934,000 in chips according to the WSOPLive App.
In second place is Harry Rubin (795,000) and in third is Oleksii Holubov (755,000). Gabi Livshitz (430,00) and Dong Chen (420,000) both also bagged for Day 2.
The tournament returns for Day 1b at noon local time and then on Monday, June 22, Day 2 will combine both Day 1 fields.

Big Names Turn Out For Day 1d Of Milly Maker
Day 1d of Event #50: $1,500 Millionaire Maker saw an excellent turnout of 4,526 entries for the day. This brought the overall prize pool up to $15,623,348.
Among the day's survivors were dozens of big names including players like Martin Zamani (250,000), David Peters (179,000), Joey Weissman (144,000), Shiina Okamoto (132,000), Brek Schutten (126,000), Jim Collopy (116,000), Maria Konnikova (118,500), Kristen Foxen (104,500), Cherish Andrews (94,500), and Anthony Zinno (17,000).
These survivors will all return at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, June 20. With a combined Day 3 beginning on Monday, June 21.

A total of 3,121-player entered on Day 1c flight trimmed down. By the end of two days' play Hugo Jimenez was the flight chip leader with 2,220,000 in chips.
Behind Jimenez is Ignacio Sole (1,925,000) in second and Joseph Mcgowan (1,780,000) in third.
Several other notables found a Day 3 bag in today's flight. They include Malcolm Trayner (1,365,000), Dan Sepiol (860,000), Ryan Laplante (620,000), and Xixiang Luo (555,000).
These players can take a breather on Sunday, while Day 2d plays out. Then they are back in the action at 11 a.m. local time on Monday, June 22, for Day 3 of the Milly Maker.

What to Expect on Day 27 of the 2026 WSOP
Day 27 of the 2026 WSOP falls on Sunday, June 21. The day will see the start of probably the most prestigious event of the series: Event #60: $50,000 Poker Players Championship. This event kicks off at 2:00 p.m. local time and will almost certainly bring in all the biggest names in the game.
The day is expected to see just one bracelet awarded. It will be in the $50,000 pot limit Omaha High Roller event.
This event will be a huge one to watch. The final table is star-studded and features yet another final table appearance from Naoya Kihara. The final table will be live-streamed on a delay.
The other new event of the day will be the $500 Salute to Warriors. This is Event #59 and will raise money for the USO and other veterans' organizations. This event kicks off at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The Millionaire Maker will play out Day 2d, finishing up the last of the separate flights before they combined Day 3 on Monday. This event kicks off at 11:00 a.m..
Two other events are set to play out their middle game tomorrow. Event #57: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha will run its second of three Day 1 flights tomorrow, and Event #58: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw will move into Day 2 of three scheduled days.
