Phil Hellmuth tries to keep it positive on social media. But a bad beat elimination from a 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event on Wednesday caused the "Poker Brat" to rant.

The 17-time bracelet winner posted a three-minute video shortly after busting on Day 2 from Event #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. In that clip, he expressed frustration two weeks into a long WSOP.

"Folks, for the last few years, I don't really share many negative posts on social media. I understand, I'm always like 'hey, Phil, you have a lot of money. You have fame, you have fortune. You have health, you have everything," Hellmuth said at the start of the video, before going into a rant.

Hellmuth, who cashed in 37th place for $21,162, was in great shape late in the Day 2 session, "playing great poker." But, as he explained, the run came to an end when the only player at the table who had him covered called off a massive bet on the turn drawing to three outs, one of which came on the river.

"He's basically just dead," Hellmuth said. "He called 520,000 in chips, and I'm like, I'm just, I'm going to have the chip lead."

Hellmuth's frustration following the elimination began to show when he said, "I'm just sick of losing these hands for the last three years, four years, whatever is." The BetRivers Casino ambassador then went on to say he doesn't like to share negativity on social media, "because I'm so lucky in life."

"But, you know, and then people think, 'well, how's Phil playing?' You know, they don't undestand that I always have the best hand for these massive pots," he continued.

Hellmuth, always passionate about winning bracelets and proving he can still compete at an elite level, claims he's struggled to close out tournaments due to players making bad calls and getting lucky.

"I'm just really getting sick of this s**t," Hellmuth ranted. "Yes, I have great health. Yes, I am blessed. But, I mean, come on. I mean, like, I can't win tournaments if this bulls**t keeps happening."

Hellmuth then expressed frustration over his final table elimination last week in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. He finished seventh for $54,214, but ran poorly at the final table and fell short of winning his record-extending 18th bracelet.

"I just want you guys to know, I'm still a great player and I'm still going to keep putting the money in with the best hand, day after day, week after week, month after month, until I have 24 f*****g bracelets," an angry Hellmuth shouted.

Hellmuth will have plenty more opportunities this summer to extend his bracelet record.
