There are just over two weeks until KPC Poker returns to Jeju, and the final pieces are being put in place ahead of the 12-day festival.
The newly rebranded tour heads to LES A Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World from October 10-21, with ₩3.1 billion (approximately $2.3 million) guaranteed. KPC Poker was formed through the merger of K Poker Cup and King Poker Cup, with October marking its first major festival under the new banner.

Now, with the festival getting closer, KPC Poker has released another batch of details, including a new route into the $15,000 King's Main Event, three Player of the Series races, a new $100,000 high-roller package and free airport transfers.
Take the Stairs to the $15K King's Main Event
The $15,000 King's Main Event is one of the biggest tournaments on the schedule, running from October 17-20. There are two starting flights before the survivors combine for Day 2 on October 19, with the champion crowned the following day.
Players not looking to put up the full $15,000 directly will have another way in through KPC Poker's new two-stage Stairs Satellite.
Stage 1 takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, with a ₩1.1 million buy-in. Players reaching the money will receive a Stage 2 ticket plus a cash prize.
The second and final step follows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, with a ₩3.15 million buy-in. This time, those reaching the qualifying positions will collect a $15,000 King's Main Event seat plus cash.

That gives players something back at each stage rather than making the satellite entirely about reaching the final destination. Exact cash prizes will be confirmed by KPC Poker on site.
$70K High Roller Offer Sells Out; $100K Package Added
The high-stakes schedule was always going to be a major part of the October festival, and KPC Poker says its original $70,000 High Roller package has now sold out.
That promotion allowed players to pre-pay $70,000 towards tournament buy-ins in return for complimentary accommodation throughout the festival, one of several travel offers previously detailed by PokerNews.
KPC Poker has now added a $100,000 Ultimate Elite Package for high rollers still looking to arrange their Jeju schedule.
There won't be a shortage of places to put that tournament bankroll to work. The high-stakes stretch includes the $60,000 King's Super High Roller, multiple $25,000 Single Day Super High Rollers, the $20,000 Crown Hunt, $15,000 King's Main Event and $30,000 Final Coronation.

Three Player of the Series Races Up for Grabs
Winning a tournament won't be the only way to leave Jeju with some extra hardware.
KPC Poker has announced three Player of the Series leaderboards, separating the races into KRW events, High Rollers and Mixed Games.

For the regular KRW Player of the Series, players need at least three cashes before becoming eligible for the leaderboard. The eventual winner receives a custom Rose Gold Bracelet and $2,000 in Player Wallet credit, with another $2,500 split between second and third.
The requirements are slightly different for the High Roller Player of the Series, where two cashes are enough to qualify. There's considerably more money on offer as well, with the winner taking a custom Gold Ring and $10,000 in Player Wallet credit. Second receives $8,000 and third gets $5,000.
Mixed-game players have their own race too. Three cashes are needed to qualify, with the winner collecting a custom Gold Bracelet and $2,000 in Player Wallet credit.
The schedule gives mixed-game players plenty of chances to get there, with Omaha Mix, Triple Draw Mix, Drawmaha, Stud Mix, Big O and 2-7 variants among the non-Hold'em offerings. There's also a ₩2 million Poker Players Championship on October 16.
All monetary Player of the Series rewards will be paid as Player Wallet Deposits.
Free Airport Transfers for Players Heading to Jeju
KPC Poker is also trying to make the trip itself a little easier, with free transfers to and from Jeju International Airport available around the start and middle of the festival.
Complimentary airport pick-ups will operate from October 9-10, while drop-offs are available from October 16-17.
Players will need to book in advance and provide their flight details, with same-day transfer requests not accepted.
Those with eligible Premium High Roller packages or the new $100,000 High Roller Package have more flexibility. Their airport transfers aren't restricted to the standard dates and can instead be arranged around their individual travel plans.
KPC Poker Jeju to Be Streamed From October 11
For anyone following the festival from home, KPC Poker will also have cameras running for much of the series.
The tour plans to broadcast action from October 11-21, with Wesley Chen, Bobby James, Aaron Paul Kramer and Jin Bo forming the commentary team.
Coverage will be available across KPC Poker's YouTube channel and 17 POKER QQ Live, giving viewers a chance to follow the action as the festival moves from its KRW events into the bigger high-roller tournaments.
Jeju Countdown Is On
The first cards hit the air on Saturday, October 10, with the ₩800,000 KPC Bankroll Builder and $5,000 King's Debut among the first major tournaments on the schedule. The Bankroll Builder carries a ₩180 million guarantee, while $1 million is guaranteed in the King's Debut.
From there, the schedule quickly ramps up. The ₩1.3 million KPC Main Event has ₩880 million guaranteed, the ₩5 million High Roller comes with ₩420 million guaranteed, and the second half of the festival brings the $60,000 Super High Roller and $15,000 King's Main Event.
