A big online poker series is coming this month to the U.S. on the PokerStars on FanDuel platform.
The poker site's upcoming Dynasty Series, which begins Sept. 12, has $3.5 million in guarantees. There are 100 events on the schedule, highlighted by the Main Event late in the series.
A Little Something for Everyone
Dynasty Series, available in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, offers plenty of tournaments for all bankrolls, as is tradition with an online poker series involving PokerStars, even now with the FanDuel merger in the U.S.
It all starts on the 12th with the $50 No-Limit Hold'em Nightly Dynasty, a $25,000 guaranteed tournament, the first of six on Opening Day. But the biggest event on the first day is the $1,000 Storm Kickoff, which has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
One day later, there are multiple six-figure guarantees at separate buy-in levels, including the $100 Dynasty NLH with $150,000 guaranteed. The Dynasty Series if No-Limit Hold'em heavy, but there are also a number of Pot-Limit Omaha events on the schedule, including the $250 Wednesday Wrap on Sept. 16 with $25,000 guaranteed.
The biggest event on the schedule is the Main Event, and there are two versions of this NLH tournament, one for a $300 buy-in with $350,000 guaranteed and the High Roller Main Event at the $1,500 price point, this one promising at least $200,000 in the pot. Both tournaments take place on Sept. 27, one day before the Dynasty Series comes to an end.
PokerStars on FanDuel continues to add major poker series to the platform as the poker site, which launched in April, is taking over the U.S. online poker industry.
