PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel

Online poker in North America is about to look very different.

PokerStars and FanDuel are officially joining forces to create a single, unified home for poker, casino, and sports betting in North America. The move will see FanDuel become the exclusive home of PokerStars, combining the PokerStars experience players know and love with FanDuel's large existing player base.

What This Means for Players

The announcement marks the beginning of a new era for players in the regulated US states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, with PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel also available to players in Ontario.

The full launch of the integrated platform is scheduled for later in 2026, but the primary goal of the migration appears obvious: liquidity. Last year, after Pennsylvania officially joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), PokerStars said it was "committed to the long-term growth of the game in the US" when it announced that it wouldn't integrate Pennsylvania into its multi-state poker network.

Fast forward less than a year, and players in the Keystone state will soon be able to compete on the new platform alongside players from New Jersey and Michigan.

The platform will see players from multiple states and the FanDuel sportsbook/casino communities under one roof, offering one-wallet convenience for a single, secure account to seamlessly manage funds across poker, sportsbook, and casino verticals.

The hope is that by combining the PokerStars brand familiar to North American customers with FanDuel’s sports and casino audience, the new platform will lead to larger fields and bigger prize pools for its tournaments and cash games.

For now, the existing PokerStars experience remains unchanged, with more information to be released in the coming months.

"Now and Later" Welcome Offer

To celebrate the transition, a "Now and Later" promotion has been introduced. Players who create a FanDuel Casino account during this initial phase are eligible for a welcome package of 500 Bonus Spins and up to $1,000 back in casino bonuses.

Those who redeem this current offer will automatically receive a dedicated Poker Welcome Offer once the poker platform officially launches.

What Happens Next?

As the transition begins, there are several key dates for current PokerStars players to keep in mind. On March 13th, the PokerStars Rewards program will be retired, with all unopened chests and progress bar totals paid out to players in cash. Additionally, on April 1st, PokerStars Casino Progressive Jackpots will be removed, and any progressive contributions will be distributed back to participating players.

Player funds remain safe and fully accessible throughout this process. Players can continue to log in, play, and withdraw from their current PokerStars accounts as usual until the official 2026 launch.
