WSOP Circuit Visits Malta This September with €1,500 Main Event

The World Series of Poker Circuit has yet another European stop on the cards, as WSOPC - Casino Malta will be at Casino Malta, St. Julian's for the very first time from September 25-October 5.

Over the course of 11 days on the Mediterranean island, there will be a whopping 12 rings up for grabs, as well as a multitude of side events, satellites, and nightlies, with buy-ins for the series ranging from €170 landmark satellites to the €2,500 High Roller.

As always, cash games will be rife in Malta, meaning anyone wanting to take a break from the tournament streets has plenty of options to do so.

€1,500 Main Event Headlines WSOPC Malta

All eyes will be on the €1,500 WSOPC No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, which gets underway Wednesday, September 30.

The first of four starting flights, Flight A, begins at 12:30 p.m. on September 30, with Flights B and C starting at the same time on October 1 and October 2, respectively. The final flight, flight D, starts at 8:00 p.m. on October 2.

Each Day 1 flight plays down to 15% of the field on a 40-minute clock, with players reconvening for Day 2 at 1:00 p.m. on October 3. They then play down to a final table on a 60-minute clock, and that final table takes place at 1:00 p.m. on October 4, with a WSOP ring ready for the winner.

As is WSOP standard, plenty of landmark satellites to the Main Event are on offer, running daily from September 25-October 2 for €180. There is also the option to qualify online, exclusively on GGPoker.

PLO, Mini Main, and High Roller All on the Schedule

Aside from the Main Event, there are a whole host of ring events and side events on offer across the series, including the €2,500 High Roller, a 2-day event taking place on September 29 and 30.

For the four-card enjoyers, the €550 Pot-Limit Omaha has its sole Day 1 flight on October 3, with late registration open until Day 2 on October 4, during which a winner will be crowned.

The €300 Mini Main Event has four Day 1 flights across the first two days of the series, at 12:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on both September 25 and 26. Players who bag return at 1:00 p.m. on September 27 for the final day of play.

Other events on offer include the €550 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty and the €500 No-Limit Hold'em Knockout for the bounty enjoyers, as well as a €300 No-Limit Hold'em Ladies Event and a €300 No-Limit Hold'em Colossus.
