Michael Lavin is an American poker player from New Jersey. Lavin is a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, and a ten-time WSOP Circuit ring winner.
Lavin has live cashes dating back to 2020, although he only cashed eight times between October 2010 and July 2020. Lavin played several WSOP online events in 2020 and 2021, where he won his first bracelet. He came out on top in the $600 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack online for $39,642 and a gold bracelet.
His deep run in the 2021 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas earned him a career-best $44,200. That remained his best-ever score until November 2022, when he won a $1,500 buy-in event in Atlantic City for $133,705.
Six months later, Lavin banked $147,039 for a runner-up finish in a $600 buy-in event in Baltimore.
At the 2025 WSOP, Lavin triumphed in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shotout for his first gold bracelet and $267,373. Lavin also has ten WSOP Circuit rings, all but one of which he won in an online poker setting.
