CardRunners Training: $100NL Heads-Up with Daniel “Markuis” Marks
Today CardRunners instructor Daniel “Markuis” Marks returns with a video preview of a live session featuring him two-tabling $100NL heads-up on Full Tilt.
Marks plays against a single opponent throughout, a player against whom he has little knowledge once the video begins. He notes at the beginning how his opponent had made a continuation bet against him with second pair — “a spot when many players would check back” — which becomes a starting point for Marks from which to build a profile of his opponent.
By the end of the 10-minute video we get to see a large number of hands between the pair, including several interesting ones involving tricky decisions that Marks does a great job explaining. Take a look:
