The Takeaway
Fintan Hand says the temptation might be there to call, especially considering the size of the all-in.
"However, after taking a few seconds to dissect villain's range, it's clear that 8♠8♣ won't have the 41% equity needed," says Hand. "The shoving range is full of overpairs that didn't 3-bet preflop, big flush draws with a lot of equity, and the occasional 4x. Sometimes you just need to let the overpair go."
