Strategy with Kristy: Jason Somerville on Heads-Up Sit-N-Go Strategy

Over the past four years, Jason Somerville has accumulated more than $3.8 million in live and online tournament winnings with one World Series of Poker bracelet to show for it as well. He coached 2012 WSOP October Nine finalist Russell Thomas to a fourth-place finish. The experience was captured on camera and released in documentary-style episodes on Somerville's YouTube channel where he also posts strategy videos.

Somerville's latest videos are heads-up sit-and-go tutorials, and he comes on the Strategy with Kristy podcast to walk listeners through one specific match which is a $20 match on Bovada versus a fairly straight-forward and limp-happy opponent. During the match, Somerville discusses how to exploit that type of player, the importance of doing some slight prodding for information in a heads up tournament, and more.
