Coman, Budai Takes It on the Turn

Heads-up on a flop of 5♥A♠8♣, Konstantinos Vatseris bet 15,000 from early position and Andreia Coman called in the cutoff.

The turn came the 9♦ and Vatseris checked. Coman then fired out 36,000 and Vatseris folded.

At the same time at another table, Victor Angelescu bet 11,000 from under the gun on a flop of 2♦A♠J♠ and both Alexandru Budai on the button and big blind George Grigore called.

The turn came the 6♦ and action checked to Budai, who moved all in, having both opponents well covered. Grigore quickly mucked, but Angelescu gave it some thought before also folding.

Vatseris Smacks the Flop For Double Knockout

Mert Tozlu was all in for around 80,000, Marius Dragoita had his last 50,000 in the middle, and Konstantinos Vatseris had them both covered and at risk.

"I never hit a set today," Tozlu said as he stood up from his seat, hoping for his queens to hold up to earn him the massive pot. Instead, the flop brought 3♦J♣9♠ as Vatseris made a set.

The board ran out K♠3♥ and Vatseris finished with a full house as both Tozlu and Dragoita snapped photos of the board before heading for the exit.

Ravnak Shoves the River in Massive Pot

Toni Ravnak raised to 7,000 from the button before Alexandru Tarcau three-bet to 28,000 in the big blind. Ravnak called and they went heads-up to the 10♦Q♥10♠ flop.

Tarcau continued for 25,000 and Ravnak called. The turn came the Q♦ and Tarcau slowed down and checked. Ravnak then bet 25,000 and Tarcau called.

The 6♣ fell on the river and Tarcau checked again. Ravnak then splashed his remaining 115,000 into the pot as Tarcau went deep into the tank. He gave the decision some thought for a few minutes before sliding his cards into the muck.

"Jack of spades," tablemate Alexandre Stoian said to Ravnak as he took in the pot.

"I don't have the jack of spades, so I can't show," Ravnak said, who returned his cards face down to a chorus of "show the bluff" from around the table.

Heads-up on a 8♥3♥K♣ flop, Alexander Sjoerd bet 5,000 from early position before Andrii Zaika raised to 20,000 out of the big blind.

Sjoerd called to see the 6♠ turn, where Zaika moved all in. Sjoerd snap-called with K♦10♦ for top pair, while Zaika had a flush draw with 9♥2♥.

The J♦ river missed Zaika and he stood up from his seat to leave before a count showed Sjoerd had 32,500 behind, leaving Zaika with around 20,000.

Ravnak Flips Agica to the Rail

Marius Agica raised to 5,000 from middle position before Toni Ravnak made it 15,000 in the hijack. Agica then shoved for around 60,000 and Ravnak snap-called.

Agica was racing for his tournament life and stood up from his seat to await the 2♣2♠9♥ flop, which kept him in the lead. The turn, though, came the A♣ and Ravnak moved in front as Agica flung his arms in the air in frustration. The river came the 5♠ and Agica's Day 1a came to an early end.

With around 20,000 in the pot and a board showing A♦6♣3♣7♠8♠, Konstantinos Vatseris bet 13,000 from the big blind as action went on Gregory Telman in middle position.

He came back with a raise to 39,000, sending Vatseris into the tank for a few minutes before he called. Telman then turned over 10♦9♦ for the runner-runner straight as he took down the pot.
