Tarcau Not Bothered by Overcards

Heads-up on a board of K9Q3, Toni Ravnak led out for 5,000 from the big blind and Alexandru Tarcau called in early position.

The river came the 6 and Ravnak slowed down and checked. Tarcau then put out an orange 25,000 chip, announcing a bet of 20,000. Ravnak tanked for about a minute before he mucked.

Tarcau showed him JJ as he took down the pot to stay among the chip leaders.

Ciuca Goes For a Bluff

Three-handed on a flop of 9105, Alexandru Budai bet 7,000 from the button and Victor Angelescu folded in the big blind before Andrei Ciuca, under the gun, raised to 20,000.

Budai quickly called to the 2 turn, where Ciuca bet another 17,000. Budai again called and the 8 fell on the river.

Ciuca slowed down and checked, and Budai checked back. "You win," Ciuca told him as Budai turned over Q10 for top pair to win the pot.

Dragoita Shoves on Popa, Shows the Nuts; Penescu Done

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Marius Dragoita and Rares Cosmin Popa were heads-up on the river with the board showing Q1025A and around 35,000 in the middle.

Popa, under the gun, bet 16,000 before Dragoita moved all in for 56,000 on the button. Popa began talking to Dragoita seeking information as he thought about the decision for a few moments before mucking AxKx. Dragoita showed him KJ for the rivered straight as he took the pot.

Gabriel Penescu, who built up a chip-leading stack earlier in the day, was eliminated from this table shortly after doubling up Bogdan Berinde.

Two Preflop Shoves, One Double Up

Gabriel Penescu raised to 4,500 from early position before Rares Cosmin Popa three-bet to 15,000 in the cutoff. Action folded to Gregory Telman in the big blind who slid forward a stack of 25,000 chips, moving all in and having both opponents covered.

Penescu gave it some thought before folding, while Popa soon joined him in the muck.

A few hands later at this table, Bogdan Berinde moved all in for 35,500 and Penescu called in the big blind.

Both players hit top pair on the 6A4 flop, but Berinde was ahead with his queen-kicker. The board ran out 106 and the players at the table had to double check to make sure they didn't split the pot before it was confirmed that Berinde had doubled up.

Alexandru Stoian opened to 3,100 from early position before Victor Vozian moved all in for 17,000 in middle position. Thomas Vetter called in the cutoff as action folded back to Stoian, who reshoved for 40,500. Vetter tossed in a chip to call.

Gavrila Fires the River on Belea

Razvan Belea and Viorel Gavrila built a pot of around 35,000 heading to the Q84 flop when Belea, on the button, bet another 12,000.

Gavrila called in the small blind and both players checked the 9 turn. The river came the 2 and Gavrila then tossed in two orange 25,000 chips for a bet of 50,000.

Belea quickly folded and Gavrila took down the pot.
