Cristea Rejoins the Fray

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Valentin Cristea reentered shortly after busting his first bullet and didn't take long before jumping right back into action.

He opened to 3,500 from under the gun and received four callers, including Abel Aspas in early position and big blind Iulian Andrei Bleau.

The flop came 967 and Cristea continued for 11,000. Both opponents called to see the Q turn, where Cristea fired out another 30,000.

Aspas quickly folded, while Bleau also tossed his cards away as Cristea began the task of building up his second bullet.

Nick Eastwood
Nick Eastwood

Nick Eastwood was all in for 32,500 from middle position and up against fellow 888poker Ambassador Ian Simpson on the button.

Nick Eastwood: 10x10x
Ian Simpson: AK

Simpson picked up a flush draw on the 65Q flop to go with his two overcards, then completed the flush on the J turn to leave Eastwood drawing dead. The 5 fell on the river and Eastwood finished filming the hand for his vlog before getting up from his seat.

"All he had to do was touch the spade and it comes. If I didn't have to film it I would've walked right out of the casino," Eastwood said after the hand.

"It's my job to do that," Simpson joked after the hand.

Cosmin Petrica moved all in from the small blind for 25,000 and Madalin Cornel Petraru called in the big blind. Ian Simpson, in the cutoff, then reshoved for around 55,000 and Petraru called having both opponents covered.

Cosmin Petrica: 99
Ian Simpson: KK
Madalin Cornel Petraru: 88

Baltateanu took the lead on the 610Q flop with a pair of queens and held on through the 7 turn and J river to double up.

Stachyra Hits the River to Double

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Adrian Constantin raised to 3,000 from early position and Frankie Chan called before Artur Stachyra moved all in for his last 33,000. Constantin called, while Chan got out of the way.

Artur Stachyra: 1010
Adrian Constantin: KQ

Stachyra was racing for his tournament life as the 548 flop kept him in the lead. The turn, though, brought the K and Constantin made top pair to move out in front. The J river improved Stachyra to a flush and he found the fortunate double up, leaving Constantin on an extreme short stack.
