Action checked to Mosquera on the 6♣3♦2♠ flop and he bet 3,000. Only Cherry called to see the K♣ turn, where Mosquera bet another 3,000. Cherry again called and the 5♦ fell on the river.
Both players checked this time and Mosquera turned over Q♥Q♣. Cherry mucked and Mosquera took down the big pot.
Five players saw a flop of 9♦6♥2♠ when Julian Mosquera bet 1,500 from the big blind. Only Stephen Cherry called in the cutoff.
The turn was the 8♥ and Mosquera led out for another 3,000. Cherry again called and the 7♣ fell on the river. Mosquera then bet 6,000.
Cherry called and Mosquera turned over 10♣9♥ for a straight. Cherry tossed 5♠ into the muck before giving up the pot.
Richin Tashi raised to 600 in early position and was called by Neil Rutter in middle position. Steven James then moved all in for 4,200 in the hijack and only Rutter called.

Rutter's pair stayed in the lead on the 6♥K♦K♥ flop, while James couldn't catch up on either the 2♥ turn or 7♣ river as he became the first player eliminated from the tournament.

As players were preparing to head off on break, Julian Mosquera and Claudiu-Doru Bojan went to the turn on a board of J♦7♦A♦9♦. Mosquera then bet 1,200 from the big blind and Bojan called in the small blind.
The river was the 8♦ and Bojan moved all in. Mosquera let out a loud sigh and shot up from his seat before calling for 8,400 with K♦Q♥ for a flush. Bojan mucked and Mosquera took the pot to double up.
"I don't need the stress. You're going to give me a heart attack," Mosquera told him as they joined the rest of the field on break.
