Two-Year Wait Ends When the 888poker Live London Main Event Begins at 1 p.m.
It’s been more than two years since 888poker Live came to the heart of London, and so much has changed over that time.
The Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London’s Marylebone district recently unveiled the results of a £15 million renovation project and is ready to show off its new look when, for the first time in nearly 900 days, the £1,250 888poker Live London Main Event kicks off today at 1 p.m. local time.
This is the first of three starting flights that take place over the next two days. The first two flights consist of 14 40-minute levels, with players beginning with a 30,000 starting stack. There is a break after every three levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 6.
There is also a turbo Day 1c flight with 20 minute levels at 8 p.m. on September 12. All survivors combine for Day 2 on September 13 at noon, with late registration remaining open until the start of the day.
