Trattou Makes a Big Hero Call to Double

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Mario Trattou
Mario Trattou

With around 6,000 in the pot on a flop of J2J, Serghei Zglavoci bet 1,500 from the small blind and was called by "PC" in the hijack and Mario Trattou on the button.

The turn was the 9 and Zglavoci checked to "PC" who bet 5,000. Only Trattou called and the 5 fell on the river. "PC" then moved all in.

"Show the bluff? Ace-queen of hearts?" Trattou asked as he tanked for several minutes. He eventually slammed in his last 20,800 and turned over A2 for two pair, while "PC" could only show K3 as he handed over the massive pot.

"I thought you were stronger than that," Trattou added after the hand.

The first player eliminated from the field was none other than defending champion David McConachie, who has already fired his second bullet.
