Bujaldon Can't Bluff Dong

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With around 30,000 in the pot on a flop of A86, Shi Dong bet 12,000 from the button before Manuel Bujaldon moved all in from early position. Dong tanked for a minute and eventually called for his last 52,500.

Shi Dong: A4 All in
Manuel Bujaldon: KJ

Bujaldon had been caught making a move and was far behind Dong's pair of aces. The Q turn gave him some hope with a straight draw, but Dong held on through the 9 river to earn the double up.

"How Do You Hold That?"

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Kyle Scott

Felice Minervini raised to 7,000 under the gun and Karl Watson called in the small blind. Kyle Scott then moved all in for 27,000 in the big blind, Minervini reshoved for 35,000, and Watson called to put both opponents at risk.

Felice Minervini: AQ All in
Karl Watson: 77

The J106 flop gave both Scott and Minervini a straight draw, but they missed the 5 turn and 2 river as Watson scored the double knockout with his sevens.

"How do you hold that? I can play all my life and never hold there," Minervini said to Watson on his way to the rail.

Further down the leaderboard are Dean Hutchison (85,500), Michael Kane (79,500), Jack Hardcastle (68,000), and Robbie Bull (54,000).

The first three starting flights have built a field of 277 entries so far. There are also 51 players currently registered in the Day 1d flight that began at 11 a.m. Late registration also remains open until the start of Day 2, so the field should grow larger by the time the official prize pool is determined.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 15 with blinds of 1,500/3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. Levels are once again 40 minutes long. Play is scheduled to go down to the final table today. All the action will be streamed on 888poker’s official YouTube channel.

Stay tuned as PokerNews provides live updates throughout the day as a final table will be set by the end of the night.
