Welcome to The Star in Sydney, Australia for the fourth stop on season five of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour.
A big field is expected for the first of two Day 1’s commencing tonight, and we are excited to see just how many players will take to the felt this evening.
Expected to be at the tables at some point over the next two Day 1 flights include this seasons ANZPT Melbourne champion Paul Hockin, current ANZPT Player of the Year leader Michael Guzzardi, Didier Guerin, Jackie Glazier, Jonathan Karamalakis, Andrew Hinrichsen, Grant Levy and Liam O’Rourke along with Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang and PokerStars Team Online Roy Bhasin.
Last year it was Gordon Huntly, who surpassed 460 other runners and emerged as the ANZPT Sydney champion, with his victory worth a handy $226,812.
