Shivan Abdine has just been eliminated from the tournament, while David Stanton has snagged a very large pot.
We arrived at the action with a 
flop out on the felt and with Stanton having checked to Abdine, who bet an unspecified amount. We say unspecified, as before we could count the bet, Stanton had raised to 2,700, Abdine had moved all in for 12,325 and Stanton had called.
Stanton held 
for top two pair, while Abdine held 
for the nut flush draw.
The 
turn and the 
river were of no help to Abdine and with that he left the tournament area. Stanton is up to around 45,000 in chips and will be looking for more poker success here in Perth after finishing 26th in the recent Aussie Millions Main Event.
