David Stanton is fresh off a deep run in the Aussie Millions Main Event. He finished in 26th place, oh-so-close to a mega score, but ultimately collected $35,000. He’s here today and has started Day 2 strongly.
We arrived at the action with Stanton rumbling in a hand against Ngoc Long Dam. There was already over 20,000 in the pot by the time the dealer had spread out a 
flop. Stanton was in the small blind position and he checked. Dam, from the hijack, checked behind and the dealer flipped over a 
turn. This time Stanton led for 12,000 which sent Dam into the tank. Eventually he folded and the pot went to Stanton.
