Vesko Zmukic was looking like he would be eliminated in 19th place when he was all in holding against Aaron Wilson's , but then the board would mean Zmukic doubled to around 115,000.
Lorinda Johnson has just been eliminated in 19th place, meaning we are down to our final two tables!
We didn’t catch the action of Johnson’s final hand, but it was an exciting one which was recalled to us by the players at the table.
Apparently it started with Scott Davies min-opening preflop and Johnson calling from the blinds. On the flop, Johnson check-called a bet of 20,500 from Davies and a hit the turn. This time Johnson led for 22,000 and Davies raised it up to 74,000. Davies called and the board was completed with a .
It was here that Johnson jammed for a little under 200,000 and Davies snap-called.
Davies held , while Johnson had complete air (a busted flush draw) with .
Ngoc Long Dam moved all in from under the gun for roughly 70,000 and Ricky Kroesen moved all in over the top. The table folded around and Dam found himself in trouble.
Dam:
Kroesen:
The board ran out to see Dam on the rail in 18th for a $6,100 as Kroesen climbs to over 300,000.
Aaron Wilson has been eliminated in 17th place, collecting $6,100.
He got his last remaining chips in holding on the turn of a board. Unfortunately for Wilson his two-pair was trumped by Paul Murray's . The river was a and with that we were down to the final 16.
Paul Murray opened under the gun to 16,000 and Tamara Volkoff flat called on the button. Action was then with John Aufdemkampe in the small blind and he decided his best move was all in. The total was 180,500 and it was back with Murray.
He took a good minute or so before he made the call as Volkoff quickly escaped.
Murray:
Aufdemkampe:
It was pretty much over when the flop landed with the turn and river completing the board.
Aufdemkampe takes 16th place as Murray is now one of our chip leaders at the dinner break.
