. The player in the small blind shoved all in and his opponent called with {A-Clubs}

for top pair, top kicker. Pretty standard so far. However the player with his tournament life on the line revealed {10-Hearts}

-- no pair, no draw.

Then things got interesting -- the turn was the {6-Clubs}

and river the {7-Clubs}

giving the player a running straight to stay alive in the tournament.

His opponent stood and yelled in jest, "Oh my god! This is PokerStars! It's rigged!"

Vongxaiburana Eliminates Schweinsberg

In a battle of the blinds, Andrew Schweinsberg opened with a raise to 400 from the small blind, before Veerachai Vongxaiburana made it 2,400 from the big blind. Schweinsberg deliberated before moving all in for an additional 6,675 and Vongxaiburana made the call.

Vongxaiburana: {10-Diamonds}

Schweinsberg: {5-Hearts}

The board fell {4-Spades}

, giving Vongxaiburana a set and the pot to jump to a tournament-leading 54,000 chips and also sent Schweinsberg to the rail.

Watch Where You Sit

The tournament has gone smoothly so far, but there have been a few hiccups along the way. The chairs at the poker tables do not roll; they are four-legged black wooden chairs upholstered in a black fabric with thin gold stripes. They are also somewhat fragile. We have already witnessed two players in the field break chairs by leaning backwards on them. There was even an issue in media row -- ESPN's Gary Wise broke his chair just by sitting down.

Demetriou Doubles

Harry Demetriou is one of the international visitors to Macau though he has been battling with a short stack for most of the day. However, he was recently able to find a double up holding {A-Hearts}

against an opponent's {K-Diamonds}

The flop was the nuts for Demetriou when it landed {3-Hearts}

, leaving his opponent drawing dead. The turn was the {5-Spades}

and river the {J-Diamonds}

and Demetriou found some breathing room and is now sitting with 4,000 chips.

Honeybone Not So Sweet

James Honeybone has lost a battle of the blinds and the war of this tournament. He raised to 950 from the small blind before the big blind shoved all in for about 10,000. Honeybone quickly called all in for less and found himself in a race, his {A-?}

against his opponent's pocket deuces. The flop of {K-?}

didn't pair him up, but did give Honeybone some extra outs with a gutshot straight draw. He picked up even more outs when the turn {6-?}

paired the board, but he missed everything when the river came {8-?}

. He has been eliminated.

A Timely Double Up

On a board of {7-Diamonds}

Steven Djingga fired out a bet of 1,500 with Mike "Timex" McDonald the lone caller in the big blind as Mike Comer and Guray Turkay stepped aside.

The river landed the {7-Hearts}

and McDonald checked to Djingga who fired out a healthy bet of 5,000. McDonald then announced he was all in. Djingga sighed in disgust and after the chips were counted down, he decided to make the call for an additional 6,475.

Djingga tabled {A-Clubs}

for top pair, top kicker, but McDonald revealed {Q-Spades}

for a flush draw that rivered trips to collect the pot and double up to over 26,000 chips.

Wooka Kim Finds a Double-Up

Wooka Kim has bucked the recent trend of elimination of Asian female players. She raised to 900 preflop and was called in three spots. When the flop came {6-Hearts}

, Kim wasted no time in shoving all in for about 4,000. She found one caller. Both players had a pair of kings, but Kim's {K-Hearts}

outranked her opponent's {K-Diamonds}

. The turn and river were both blanks, the {8-Spades}

Lin Takes a Long Walk

Celina Lin is the latest player eliminated. She made it 1,300 to go preflop and found one caller, Daisy Wain, who had limped into the pot. On a flop of {5-Hearts}

, Wain checked to Lin, who bet 2,000. She was immediately check-raised by Wain to 4,000, a raise that Lin called.

When the turn came {4-Clubs}

, Wain bet 6,000. Lin, with 14,00 left in her stack, moved all in. Wain snap-called with {5-Clubs}

for a set of fives. Lin turned over {Q-Diamonds}

for an overpair. She did not catch a miracle queen on the river. Since her opponent had her covered, Lin was bounced from the tournament.

Wain has 49,000.
