Terrence Chan Busts

The button opened for a raise, Mladen Ivin called from the small blind, and Terrence Chan moved all-in for about 30,000. The button folded, but Ivin looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Chan turned over {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and the players saw a board of {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Ivin's aces-up were best, and he knocked out Chan while rebounding his own stack to about 365,000.

Aristed Development

Peter Aristidou
Peter Aristidou
Peter Aristidou is now sitting with just over 110,000 after a recent duel with high roller's winner Jarred Graham.

Graham opened the pot with a raise to 5,000 from the button and was called by Aristidou from the big blind. The flop came down {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and both players checked, opting to see a free turn card, which was the {5-Diamonds}.

Aristidou then checked, Graham bet 5,000, Aristidou check-raised to 15,000 and Graham called.

5th Street brought the {6-Spades} and Aristidou fired a 17,000 bet. Graham made the call and Aristidou tabled {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a full house. Graham flashed the {J-Clubs} before flinging his cards back to the dealer.

After the hand, Graham was left with 190,000 in chips.

Tran Going Strong

Esstathia Bouyioukos checked the flop of {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} to Jimmy Tran. Tran fired 6,600 before being check-raised to 15,000 by Bouyioukos. After a few minutes of deliberation, Tran reraised to 25,000, almost as small as you could make a reraise. Bouyioukos quickly called.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and Bouyioukos checked over to Tran. This time she wasn't check-raising, but instead check-called a bet of 15,700 from Tran.

The river brought the {9-Hearts} and Bouyioukos checked again. Tran fired another bet of 31,500. Bouyioukos looked like she was going to call, but then mucked her hand. Tran is now up to 450,000 chips.

Grigg is Mortal

Taking place during the break, Tom Grigg raised to 6,000 from the cut off and both blinds called.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} and the small blind, who identified himself as "Kimmy" bet 6,000. The big blind folded, and Grigg raised it up to 17,000. Kimmy made the call, and the players went to the turn.

The {5-Hearts} hit and Kimmy checked to Grigg, who bet 26,000. Kimmy quickly called. Both players quickly checked the {4-Hearts} river, and Kimmy showed {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} which was good enough to take the pot.

Kimmy chipped up to 250,000 and Grigg slipped to just under 500,000.

Break

The players are on what looks to be their last break of the day. Be back shortly to finish things out.

Rami Ykmour Eliminated

Aleks Brkovic has just won another big pot with the elimination of Rami Ykmour. Ykmour opened to 6,000 from early position, and was called by Brkovic from the small blind.

On a flop of {A-?}{9-?}{6-?}, Brkovic checked to Ykmour who fired a continuation bet of 14,000. Brkovic made the call.

On the turn, {Q-Clubs}, Brkovic checked again and this time, Ykmour bet 25,000. Brkovic then put Ykmour to a decision for all of his chips, and Ykmour made the call, tabling the {9-?}{9-?}. Amazingly, he was behind the slow-played {A-?}{A-?} of Brkovic.

The river blanked meaning Ykmour would be eliminated from the tournament and Brkovic would race up to 450,000 in chips, now in contention for the chip lead.

Domenico Lauricella Busts Fazzino

In a blind vs. blind battle, Sal Fazzino open shoved his last 34,000 with {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Domenico Lauricella woke up with pocket kings and the players saw the board roll out {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Lauricella's kings full were good enough to bust Fazzino, and volt him up to 72,000

The Croc Tamed

The Croc is no more
The Croc is no more
Billy "The Croc"Argyros was just busted by Eric Assadourian. The Croc lost a big post to Aleks Brkovic after Brkovic went runner, runner to make a wheel. The action on the flop and turn were checked and allowed Brkovic to get there.

Assadourian then sent Argyros to the rail when he bested The Croc's {K-?} {J-?} with {9-?} {7-?} after flopping a pair of sevens.
