Catching the action on the flop of {A-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs}, we found Daniel Ling leading out from the small blind into an already healthy pot with a 31,000-chip bet.

His lone opponent in the hand - Brendon Rubie - made the call as the {2-Hearts} spiked on the turn.

Ling checked, and Rubie fired out 40,000 with Ling making the call before the {3-Spades} landed on the river.

Again Ling checked to see Rubie slide out two stacks of chips amounting to a bet of 138,000.

Ling went deep into the tank for over three minutes before kicking his cards to the muck to slip to 200,000 as Rubie chipped up to 490,000 in chips.

Levy and Rubie Fanboys ITT?

The Australian poker community is a very close-knit one, with nearly everyone throwing support behind any player that is running deep in a Main Event.

Two players that call the Star City Casino home - and that have had some great success in this very casino - are still in today's field.

2007 Champion Grant Levy has today peddled his short-stack up to 240,000 while young online gun Brendon Rubie has slipped a bit (mainly courtesy of a Levy double), but still retains a healthy 455,000.

Consequently, we at PokerNews know that there are many Levy and Rubie fanboys out there following along with the coverage, and accordingly we decided to snap a few extra photos for your viewing pleasure!

Enjoy!
