Hao Tian opened to 48,000 from the hijack, before Jay Tan looked down at her cards from the button. She counted out her stack, before moving all in for her last 163,000 in chips. With the decision back on Tian, he agonised only slightly, before making the call.

The board ran out to see Tan double up, as her rail cheered on her victory hand.
“I won with my favourite hand,” rejoiced Tan, raking in the pot.
“That’s Kenny’s favourite hand too,” joked Tournament Director Danny McDonagh, having a little stab at Tan’s partner Kenny Wong, who was eliminated from the tournament when his pocket kings were out-flopped by his opponent’s pocket queens.
The action started with Kosei Ichinose opening to 35,000 from the cut-off, and found a call from Alexandre Chieng on the button, as well as Ling Tong on the big blind. The flop came down , as Tong and Ichinose checked. Chieng slid out a bet of 50,000, which had Tong’s cards in the muck instantly. Ichinose made the call, as the fell on the turn. Ichinose was happy to check once more, as Chieng moved all in for 790,000 in chips. Ichinose looked down at his stack, then over at Chieng’s, before mucking his hand as well.
Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened the pot from the cut-off and was called by Ern Boon Chiew on the button, before Shuyang Yu raised the two an additional 81,000 in chips. Both happily called, as the flop came down . Yu checked as Troyanovskiy slid out a bet of 140,000. Chiew got out of the way, before Yu went into the tank. A few minutes passed, before he motioned towards his chips, and slid out a raise to 300,000. Troyanovskiy, not showing much emotion, mucked his hand.
While the big hand was happening on Table 1, over on Table 2, Trung Tran and Shuyang Yu were involved in a pre-flop betting war that saw 460,000 in the middle as the flop came down . Tran checked first, and was met with an all-in call for around 700,000 from Yu. He wasn’t very pleased, mucking his cards.
Yu then tabled his , much to the dislike of Tran, who’s reaction looked like he had been out-flopped.
A big pot just occurred over on Table 1. Kosei Ichinose opened to 35,000 from the cut-off, before Rauf Bikbulatov moved all in for 141,000 from the small blind. Ling Tong was next to him, and made the call before the decision was back on Ichinose. He opted to move all in for an additional 324,000 in chips, putting Tong to the test. A few minutes passed before he let it go, as the other two players tabled their cards.
