Mu Not Chip Leader of His Table Anymore

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Dapeng Mu has slipped down to around 160,000 in chips while Yat Wai Cheng has moved up to 260,000. Mu peeked at this very amount about an hour ago but is still comfortably above average.

Cheng was not seen in any massive pots yet and gave up the last hand on a {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, but we will add him to our list of players to look out for.

Run Like Kim

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A short-stack, that had previously shoved and chopped a pot with {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds} versus {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, was all in again for around 10 big blinds. Gab Yong Kim decided to look him up with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and faced the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of the opponent. The {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board gave Kim the better hand on the river and he moves up to a quarter million in chips.

Quads for Lim Sam

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Shortly before their table was broken, a massive hand occurred on table 11 and almost all let out a huge gasp when the showdown rook place. With almost 90,000 in the pot, Kwet Yoong Lim Sam was all in and at risk on the {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds} turn and his opponent looked him up with {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

The player from Mauritius flipped over his {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} for quads and the {3-Diamonds} river was already meaningless.

Kim With Many Small Pots

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After raising with the {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and then checking down all the way on a board of {4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Gab Yong Kim was good and raked in the chips. His opponent, Chris Yeow Chung Chong, is among the bigger stacks in the room and they are now almost even.

Yin Increases His Stack

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Shen Ming Yin raised to 4,000 from under the gun plus one then watched as Jia Liang bumped it up to 9,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Yin made the call, and both players watched the flop come down {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

Both checked their options before the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Yin check-called another bet of 8,000 from Liang before both checked the {9-Clubs} on the river.

Yin then tabled his {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for the bottom end of the straight which was enough to take down the pot as Liang mucked his hand.

Cardyn Steps Up by Eliminating Edoc

Level 11 : 900/1,800, 200 ante
Lester Edoc
Lester Edoc

In a battle of the blinds, Lester Edoc got his stack of approximately 60,000 chips in preflop with the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} after a raising war with Nicolas Cardyn and the Frenchman snap-called with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

There was no help on a dry board of {5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Cardyn is now among the biggest stacks.

Lee Busts One

Level 11 : 900/1,800, 200 ante

A short stack shoved his last two big blinds from under the gun and Alex Xiang Wei Lee made the call out of the small blind with {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. His opponent held {10-Clubs}{7-Spades} and failed to find any help on a board of {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. It was no huge hand but gave us the opportunity to update Lee's stack.

With the eliminations pouring in still, the field has been reduced to its last 11 tables and there are currently 94 players left.

Chan Takes Chane

Level 11 : 900/1,800, 200 ante
Chane Kampanatsangakorn
Chane Kampanatsangakorn

It must have been a very painful day at the tables for Chane Kampanatsanyakorn and he just shipped in his last 2,600 from under the gun. He received three callers including Wai Leong Chan in the small blind and the {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was checked through.

Chan then bet the {10-Spades} turn and the {5-Diamonds} river to get called by the player from one seat over only. Chan turned over his monster hand {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a full house while the next player showed his {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Kampanatsanyakorn's {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} stood no chance and he headed to the rail.
