Perez Takes Lau Out of the Running

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Alan Lau
Alan Lau

Alan Lau was all-in and at risk from the cutoff as he was called by Bell John Perez in late position who had him covered.

Alan Lau: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Bell John Perez: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs} to give Perez top pair and Lau a straight draw.

The turn brought them the {9-Clubs}, Lau still needed a jack to double up but a club would split the pot.

The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds} which wasn't any of the outs Lau needed to survive and he was sent to the rail to take another shot tomorrow on Day 1b.
