Lew Sticks Around Through the Betting of Yotsushika

Level 7 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop showed {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and there was around 30,000 in the pot. Randy Lew check-called a bet of 12,000 from Kazuhiko Yotsushika and the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Lew checked to Yotsushika, he bet 20,000 and again Lew stuck around. The {8-Diamonds} fell on the felt as a river and both players checked. Lew turned over {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a pair of nines and Yotsushika showed just a {6-Clubs} as he threw his cards into the muck, shipping some of his newly acquired chips to Lew.

Yotsushika Scores Spectacular Double Through Park

Level 7 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kazuhiko Yotsushika
Kazuhiko Yotsushika

In a battle of the blinds, Kazuhiko Yotsushika had already three-bet to 30,000 out of the small blind and the squeeze to 75,000 by Christopher Park forced out the initial raiser. Yotsushika came along to see the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, on which the Japanese check-shoved into a bet of 60,000 by Park.

After asking for a count on the stack of Yotsushika, who was all in for 258,000, Park made the call.

Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Christopher Park: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Yotsushika was trailing with his pair and gutshot but had a few outs to avoid the trip to the cashier for a re-entry. While the {k-Diamonds} turn was a blank, the {3-Diamonds} followed on the river and that secured the double up.

Soyza Re-Enters and Shows a Bluff

Level 7 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A few minutes after he was eliminated, Michael Soyza re-entered and sat down on the very same table once more, albeit on a different seat. He faced a raise by Randy Lew and flat-called in the cutoff, Danny tang in the big blind made it three-ways to the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop. Tang checked and Lew continued for 13,000, which both opponents called.

The {10-Diamonds} on the turn was checked to Soyza and he bet 34,000, this time only Tang called. On the {j-Clubs} river, Tang check-folded to a bet of 110,000 by Soyza and he was shown the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} by Soyza, who had a big smile on the face. Tang all but rolled his eyes and several players at the table laughed.

Christopher Park opened to 11,000 from the button, Michael Soyza moved all in for 48,000 in the small blind and Danny Tang called from the big blind. Park folded and the two remaining players turned over their hands with Soyza at risk.

Michael Soyza: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Danny Tang: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop came down {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Soyza started to laugh after seeing his flopped flush draw. A {10-Clubs} fell on the turn and Tang was still ahead with his pair of kings.

A {6-Diamonds} hit on the river and Tang's cowboys took down the pot. Soyza said "Too many outs," with a smile as he stood up and headed to the registration desk.
