Paul Newey had gotten a three-bet shove through just a few hands ago and then ended up all-in for what appeared to be 204,000 with Markus Garberg looking him up.

The flop and turn delivered no help to Newey but he still had outs. However, the river was not among them and he had to settle for 20th place.
Just before the blinds had gone up, Jean-Robert Autran got it in preflop for 211,000 and was at risk versus Nam Hyung Kim.

The flop and turn kept Autran in the lead. He avoided the elimination with the river as the big stack of Kim was dented.
After the blinds had gone up, Alexander Puchalski opened to 24,000 and Yu-Chung Chang jammed for 91,000 in the small blind. "That's a fair price," Puchalski admitted and made the immediate call when it was his turn to act.

The flop all but locked up the double but the turn was a huge sweat all of a sudden. However, the river brought no more trouble and Chang doubled.
Chhay Lem Lim raised to 20,000 and Renniel Galvez then three-bet to 60,000. Lim pushed all-in and Galvez asked for a count. It was another 228,000 on top for Galvez to call and he nearly used the entire 30-second shot clock before he made the call.

The overcards missed the board and Lim was ousted in 21st place.
Valeriy Pak raised to 25,000 in the cutoff and Bryan Huang jammed on the button for around 130,000. Michael Soyza in the big blind pushed all-in and Valeriy Pak called all-in for slightly fewer chips.

"I have the worst hand, of course," Huang joked and Soyza said "the worst hand can win, let's just hope the second best doesn't".
Pak soared into the lead on the flop and Huang was pretty much dead while Soyza had spades and the two remaining kings as outs. The turn bricked but the river improved Soyza to knock out two opponents.
Chip leader Nam Hyung Kim pushed into the big blind of Mohamad Abbouchi and the latter called for the 62,000 he had behind.

The flop gave both players a piece and Abbouchi was somewhat surprised in jest as he held on the turn and river.
Yu-Chung Chang tangled with the red-hot running Sofia Lovgren-Fullmer and bet the river for 80,000 with some 145,000 behind. Lovgren Fullmer pushed all-in and Chang asked for a count with one time bank behind. The request was declined as Lovgren Fullmer was sitting behind a massive stack and it was obvious Chang was covered by a mile.
His clock ran down and the hand was dead, leaving him with fewer chips and no time banks.
Last but not least, Renniel Galvez slow-played and got them in on a flop for 178,000 when Ido Aboudi check-jammed the . The turn and river locked up the double for Galvez.
Natalie Teh raised from an early position and was called by Zdravko Duvnjak out of the big blind. On a flop, Duvnjak check-called for 16,000 and then check-folded the turn when facing a bet of 40,000.
One table over, the turn showed and Michael Soyza checked in the small blind. Jianguo Zhou bet 40,000 out of the big blind and Valeriy Pak called from the next seat. Soyza then check-raised to 160,000 and forced two folds.
